Posted January 03, 2011
Now is the time to make good on those New Year’s Resolutions to take a class, express yourself, or be creative. Studio 1219 in Port Huron has released its list of winter and spring classes and workshops for 2011. The Studio offers a variety of programs for all ages of students – from 6 to 106—to work in many mediums including drawing, painting, pottery, theatre and more. Students young and old can register for classes online at the Studio’s website, http://www.studio1219.com/classes or by calling (810) 984-2787.
Tens of thousands of area students have come home from school with their colorful Studio 1219 “2011 Winter/Spring Class and Workshop Schedule” and are eager to get registered and have fun learning and creating art. New this year, the Studio is guaranteeing some classes will run, regardless of enrollment. (Check the Studio’s website or brochure for classes marked with a paintbrush.)
Students of every age love the personal attention they get from Studio 1219’s art teachers and the feeling of accomplishment when they complete a hands-on project. There’s still time to register for classes before some of them begin mid-January, so check the schedule and enroll now!
