Posted May 18, 2010
Studio 1219 offers a variety of programs for all ages of students to work in many mediums including paint, paper and clay from June through summer. The Studio is offering enticing incentives to early—and multiple—registrants. If patrons act quickly, and enroll by May 22th they can take advantage of the Art Camp pre-registration savings of $10 per week, per student. Registrations during the week of May 24th will get a free t-shirt. Registrations for 4 or more weeks get an extra $5 off tuition per week! Registrations for two or more siblings get a $10 savings per child! Patrons can register for classes online at the Studio’s website, http://www.studio1219.com, or by stopping at the Studio, 1219 Military Street, Port Huron, or by calling (810) 984-2787.
Thousands of area children have come home from school with their blue “Studio 1219 Art 2010 Summer Camp, Class & Workshop Schedule” and are eager to get registered and have fun learning and creating art.
Students love the personal attention they get from Studio 1219’s art teachers and the feeling of accomplishment when they complete a hands-on project. These skills are also reaped throughout life as they master eye-to-hand coordination in class. In the words of Gandhi, “…let him learn handwriting only after he has learned to draw objects. He will then write a beautifully formed hand.”
In an effort to expedite efficiency, there have been some changes made to registration policies and the Studio reminds patrons to register two weeks before the start date of a class before the price goes up. Visit the Studio website for more details at http://www.studio1219.com.
