FREE Workshop to empower St. Clair County Young Ladies

A Beautiful Me has partnered with Studio 1219 to host the next FREE 4-part workshop series “Genuine Beauty Workshop for Girls.” The 4-part series will be on Tuesday, July 5 - Friday, July 8, 2011 from 9:45 am - 12 noon and is open to young ladies exiting 3rd-7th grade. How can we encourage young girls and women everywhere to embrace a more positive image of themselves, both inside and out?
A Beautiful Me has developed a unique workshop series that is interactive, fun, educational, and empowers young ladies with positive self-esteem.
“After my daughter attended the first 2-hour workshop in the series she began utilizing the techniques learned and remarked that she felt better already.” Chris Sutherland, LPC/NCC, parent and counselor commented on the workshop series for girls, “As a therapist I foolishly thought that my children would be insulated from self esteem issues. Unfortunately, I was wrong. A Beautiful Me™ is already making a difference in the way my daughter thinks, feels and speaks about herself.”
These free 4-part workshops, developed by A Beautiful Me™, promote self-confidence and have effectively reached over 800 young ladies in St. Clair, Macomb, Oakland, Lapeer, and Wayne Counties in just two years. Soon to be traveling to Camotán, Chiquimula, Guatemala with a team of women to work with 30 Guatemalan young ladies in July 2011.
