Add your own twist to community sculpture at Studio 1219

Posted March 06, 2008

Feeling creative?

Grab some clay and stop by Studio 1219 this month to contribute to a community sculpture. The process will be led by Deborah Bassett-Maxwell, the artist of the month at Studio 1219’s Spiral Studio.

Visitors can watch the sculpture transform into a finished work of art. Maxwell is the owner of Red Mudd Studio in Kimball Township and specializes in wheel-thrown pottery. She also offers Girls Night Out classes at her workshop.

For details call Studio 1219, 1219 Military St., Port Huron, at (810) 984-ARTS (2787).
