Hands are for Helping, Not Hurting Art Show
Studio 1219 artists have teamed up with the children of Safe Horizons to create art pieces, incorporating their handprints with various art mediums and designs including, but not limited to: painting, photography, pottery, stained glass, pen and ink and more!!!
These unique pieces and other items will be sold by silent auction Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 6-9:00 p.m. at Studio 1219. The cost is $15 per person. Hor’s d’oeuvres and beverages included.
Proceeds from the event will be matched dollar for dollar by Citizen’s First Foundation to benefit the Safe Horizons Endowment Fund held at the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. Your purchase will be an investment in your community by helping Safe Horizons provide safe homes for victims of domestic violence and their children, long into the future.
