John Henry

SC4 Instructor and Multi-media artist John Henry will be displaying over 100 works of art. His formal learning in art has been at the University of Dayton, the Dayton Art Institute, Antioch College and Norwich University attaining three degrees. He has taught on the college and university level for 38 years and has over 200 illustrations in print. He has also had over 20 one-man shows in the United States and Canada. For the past 25 years he has been a professor in the Communication Design department at St. Clair County Community College. In the area of graphic design he has created many corporate identities and advertisements for companies and charities in the Blue Water area. John has had a purchase award and is in the permanent collection at the Port Huron Museum along with having sculptures at Comerica Park in Detroit. Studio 1219 is looking forward to displaying John’s diverse collection.
