Walt Badgerow

Walt BadgerowWalt Badgerow is a full metal artist with full metal creations. He is a lifelong student with various degrees, certificates and countless entrepreneurial accomplishments and has been self-employed for the bulk of his life - beginning at the age of eight with a wholesale produce business.

At age sixteen Walt joined the San Francisco fishing fleet where he worked as a “chummer” catching albacore and wrote and published his first of two books of poetry. He has lived and worked in many states as a structural steel “fitter” and welder. He has also worked professionally as a residential designer, builder and has been working as an artist full time since 1998 - exhibiting his work in numerous galleries and private shows as well as many art fairs throughout Michigan.

Studio 1219 is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization created by a Cool Cities Grant to bring arts, community involvement and economic development together. Your donations help to make Studio 1219 possible. Any level of support is greatly appreciated and will be put to maximum use. Donations are tax deductible.

Building Use

Studio 1219 is a multi-purpose building open to the public. Space can be rented out for birthday parties, receptions, meetings, bridal showers, baby showers, and much more. Prices vary.
