Vicky Path

My name is Vicky Path. I’ve always had a passion for art, even from an early age. In High School, I became president of our Art Club, and when in college, I took art classes as often as I could fit them into my schedule. Though my love for art is great, my career choice was in teaching. I obtained a bachelors degree in elementary education from Central Michigan University, and married shortly after graduation. Married life led to the blessing of raising two sons, but unfortunately it also left little time for me to pursue my artistic passion. I did, however, try to integrate art into my parenting, and it was at this time that I took up crocheting, making “Care Bears”, and also Christmas ornaments. While these were enjoyable to me, my real love was always oil painting. Two years ago I finally had the time, and the opportunity to take lessons from an amazing instructor who has not only taught me the techniques, but also encouraged me to push myself to levels that I had only dreamed of before. Every painting is a new experience, and I love every minute of it.  If I could paint every day, I would do so in a heart beat! 

My specialty is oil painting and enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes.
