Ron Grogan

Ron GroganRon is a photographer who has been shooting off and on for some 35 years. He takes pictures of almost anything, but nature seems to be his preferred subject. When shooting, Ron likes to portray things as they really are - the vision is real, not enhanced or manipulated.

Having spent years working with 35mm film and slides, Ron has now converted to doing almost all digital photography. He is a member of the Blue Water Shutterbugs Camera Club and the Studio 1219 Artists’ Network.

Photography is not work to Ron; it is a way to challenge himself, to see if he can get that perfect photo. Ron strives to capture a moment or event that can tell a story and perhaps trigger a memory of a special time or place. If he can accomplish these things then all the time and effort that he has put into his photography is justified.
