Pavanne Lapham

As a lifelong student of art, I love color and creative exploration in a wide range of media. My training and background include works in oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, life drawing, photography, stained glass, fiber art, and silver & beaded jewelry.  No matter what the medium, my goal is to create with each finished piece, something original and unique.

For many years, I ran my own highly successful business, a commercial sign industry called ‘Signs and Lines’, based in Oakland County and employing up to ten people. After twenty years of creative signage, it is nice to know our works are still out there, lending an artistic and informative service to the local community.

My current passion is what I call ‘Painting with Glass’, using glass mosaics as my material and exploring new avenues of expression. I believe artistic ideas are a fusion of feelings, imagination and internal powers. This is what keeps me inspired and makes each piece original.

I am always happy to share my knowledge and skills with others in the hope that they too will be inspired to create their own works of art. I live and have my art studio in my home in Port Sanilac, Michigan.
