I love to paint and I love to play in the sand. Sand, cement and paint have played an important role in my life. I grew up in a very creative environment. I still have fond memories of Sunday afternoons spent drawing and painting with my father. His stone and masonry business fostered my kindred spirit for working with sand and cement.
When I paint or create shapes from cement, I feel the energy flow unobstructed from me to the object. Often I plan a specific project for days. Other times it is a spur of the moment idea and I follow my inspiration.
