Christine E. Noetzel

My name is Christine E. Noetzel. I began painting watercolor in 1990, learning from local artist Mary Quintal. My first paintings were florals and eventually I began painting landscapes and experimenting with mixed medium and watercolor. Chen Kee Chee, Millie Briggs, Jack Reid, Helga Flower, and Gordon Mackenzie are a few of the artists I have studied under at seminars in Michigan, the East Coast and in Canada. Traveling has also taken me to the west coast and Hawaii. These wonderful places have given me an extensive photo collection to paint from. I am a member of the Blue Water Art Association and currently have paintings exhibited at Port Huron’s Studio 1219. My work has also been in several art shows throughout Michigan.
