Bryan Morgans

Bryan has been interested in woodwork from childhood. He remembers learning the use of hand tools when helping his father in his tiny workshop. On Bryan’s retirement in 1999 he was able to devote all his time and energy to working with wood. At first he made simple boxes with secret compartments for his grandchildren, then moved on to make more decorative items for other family members and was persuaded to exhibit his work in local galleries.

Bryan is a member of the Detroit Area Woodturners, the Blue Water Area Woodturners, Michigan Woodworkers Guild and the American Association of Woodturners. He has learned a great deal from the depth of talent in these groups and continues to hone his expertise in the company of experts in the field.
